Tore Schiøtz - CEO and Executive Vice President Venture
Mr. Schiøtz has served as Group Senior Vice President, Venture, from November 2006, and as Managing Director of Hafslund Venture since 2001. During the latter period, Mr. Schiøtz played a key role in the development of Hafslund’s ownership in Renewable Energy Corporation (REC). Mr. Schiøtz joined Hafslund from his previous position as Managing Director of the investment company Centurum AS. Mr. Schiøtz also has extensive work experience with Storebrand Spar, where he most recently served as the company’s investment director, and as a consultant at Arthur Andersen.

Master in Business and Economics, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).

Bjørn Einar Kihl - Investment Director
Mr. Kihl joined Hafslund Venture in 2003. He has a broad range of experience from the telecom sector, including start up companies. Mr. Kihl  has first hand experience with product development and commercialization into international markets. 

Education: Master of science degree from ETH in Zürich, Switzerland.

Arne Schjerpen - Investment Director 
Mr. Schjerpen joined Hafslund Venture in November 2006 from a Director of M&A position in Hafslund ASA. Initially Mr. Schjerpen joined Hafslund Forretningsutvikling/Venture in 1998. For six years he leaded Hafslund Sikkerhet that started as a venture investment. Prior to joining Hafslund, Mr. Schjerpen has experience from Skandinaviske Elverk (Fortum), Nordpool and DnB Fonds.

Master in Business and Economis, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).

Thomas Pettersen - Senior Investment Manager
Mr. Pettersen joined Hafslund Venture in February 2007 from the position as Chief Information Officer in Hafslund ASA. His main responsibilities was strategic and operational corporate IT. Initially Mr. Pettersen joined Hafslund in 2000. For three years he leaded technical development and was a part of the business development team as Head of IT. Prior to joining Hafslund Mr. Pettersen was managing director in Byte AS, a consultant and system development company.
 
Education: Holds a Master of Computer engineering. Executive development at IMD university in Switzerland.

Joachim Cock - Senior investment manager
Mr. Cock joined Hafslund Venture in May 2006 from a position with Icon Capital Group, a Nordic based investment fund. Main focus was oil service related technology and the telecom sector. Mr. Cock has more than 7 years experience from the venture capital and corporate finance market.

Education: Master in Economics and Finance.

Board member: ChapDrive AS, 4tech AS.

Deputy Board member: Fesil AS.

Rasmus Hansson - Senior Investment Manager
Mr. Hansson joined Hafslund Venture in October 2008. Prior to joining Hafslund Venture, he was co-founder of Holst, Hansson & Co AS, an independent corporate finance advisory firm established in 2004. Previous experience also includes positions at Moe Securities, Convexa Capital and Telenor Venture. Mr. Hansson has more than 10 years experience from venture capital and corporate finance.

Education: Mr. Hansson holds a BSc, University of Oslo and a MSc in Management, London School of Economics.

Thea Sveen - Investment Manager
Thea Sveen joined Hafslund Venture in February 2009. Prior to this she was Senior Advisor Business Development in Hafslund Heat and Infrastructure. Sveen was previously employed in the Department of Ownership, Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, and The Norwegian Oil Taxation Office.
