Group Management

Hafslund is led by CEO Finn Bjørn Ruyter, and is organized into three operational business areas and four business support units.

The Group Management's tasks are to facilitate, and actively participate in, the work of identifying and implementing measures that contribute to achieving strategic goals.

These are members of the corporate management team

  1. Finn Bjørn Ruyter

    Finn Bjørn Ruyter

    CEO

    Finn Bjørn Ruyter has been CEO of Hafslund since 2012. He was CFO in the company in 2010 and in 2011. In 2009-2010 he worked in the Philippine hydropower company SN Aboitiz Power. In the period 1999-2009 he managed the energy division at Elkem ASA, and before that the power trading business from 1996. In 1991-1996 he worked with oil and power trading at Norsk Hydro ASA.

    Ruyter holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and an MBA from BI School of Economics. He is board member of Equinor ASA and Cegal AS.

  2. Berit Sande

    Berit Sande

    CFO

    Berit Sande took up the position of executive vice president for economics and finance, CFO, in August 2022. She came from the position as director of portfolio and strategy at Norsk Hydro ASA, and also has experience from Hydro Energi. She has a long career at the Boston Consulting Group (2006 – 2017), where she largely focused on the energy industry and renewables.

    Sande holds a degree in industrial economics and technology management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

  3. Kristin Lian

    Kristin Lian

    CEO Hafslund Kraft

    Kristin Lian took up the position of Executive Vice President Vannkraft and CEO Hafslund Kraft in September 2021. From 2019 to 2021 she was CEO of Elvia.

    Lian has a degree in electrical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and started in the energy industry in 1999.

    She has held various management positions in Hafslund Nett for 20 years, and was executive director and managing director of the company from 2013 to 2019. She is chairman of the board in BKK AS and board member in Arva AS.

  4. Knut Inderhaug

    Knut Inderhaug

    CEO Hafslund Vekst

    Knut Inderhaug took over as executive director of Hafslund Vekst in summer 2024. He has previously been managing director of Hafslund Celsio since October 2021. Inderhaug has previously held various management positions in Fortum and Hafslund, where he was employed in 2010.

    He has a degree in civil economics from Høgskolen i Sør - Trøndelag.

  5. Elise Horn

    Elise Horn

    EVP Corporate Development

    Elise Horn joined Hafslund's group management in October 2022 with responsibility for strategy. In the first quarter of 2023, Horn's area of ​​responsibility was expanded and she is now Executive Vice President Group Development with responsibility for strategy, HR, sustainability and brand. Horn has worked in Hafslund since 2018 and since then has held many roles, as advisor to the CEO, head of strategy and development for the power market and head of group strategy. She has previously worked as a strategy consultant at Arkwright Consulting (2016-2018).

    Horn has a degree in industrial economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

  6. Martin S. Lundby

    Martin S. Lundby

    CEO, Hafslund Celsio

    Martin S. Lundby took over as CEO of Hafslund Celsio on 1 September 2024. Previously, he was executive vice president of Hafslund Vekst and has held several management roles in the company, including executive vice president for Growth and Investments, Development and Growth, Projects, and Finance and Finance.

    Lundby also has experience as head of finance and investor relations, business developer at Hafslund ASA, and transaction advisor at EY.

    He has a master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU.

  7. Eirik Folkvord Tandberg

    Eirik Folkvord Tandberg

    Executive Vice President for Projects

    Eirik Folkvord Tandberg is Executive Vice President for Projects, as from June 1, 2025. Before this he was acting Executive Vice President for Group Development from November 2024. He started as Executive Vice President for Energy Markets in May 2022, coming from the position of Director of Strategy and Development at Fortum City Solutions. He has held various positions in the Fortum group and managed Hafslund Celsio, formerly Fortum Oslo Varme, for four years (2017-2021). Before that, he worked for six years in the Hafslund group, with roles within strategy, framework conditions and management, particularly for the district heating company Hafslund Varme.

    Tandberg holds a degree in industrial economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
