We invest in people, technology, and solutions that accelerates the green transition. We are looking for innovative technology companies with strong scaling potential, based on sustainability, digitalization, and electrification through renewable energy. Our venture investments are made on behalf of both Hafslund and Eidsiva Energi.

Hafslund and Eidsiva Energi are strategic and long-term investors, and therefore seek clear industrial and strategic connections with the companies we invest in. Through access to our expertise, infrastructure, and network, we aim to increase the value of our portfolio companies. We invest in both early-stage and more mature companies.

Our focus areas cover the entire value chain for green energy, electrification, and sustainable infrastructure, including:

• Solutions for distributed renewable energy, distributed production, and storage of renewable energy.
• Technological tools aimed at the energy industry of tomorrow, including digital tools and systems for monitoring, insights, aggregation, and management.
• Carbon capture and storage, as well as business models related to CO2 management
• Smart infrastructure and smart city solutions, including electrification and digital infrastructure developed for future cities.
• Technology and business models enabling nature-positive, circular, and sustainable solutions for better resource utilization.
• Electrification and energy efficiency of industries with significant emissions and energy consumption, such as mobility, construction, industry, real estate, agriculture, etc.
