Hafslund Kraft is the company that has developed the most hydropower in recent years. By 2035, we plan to invest an additional 20 billion NOK in power production. To achieve profitable and sustainable growth, we need reliable suppliers.

Good suppliers are also critical for safe and secure operations and for reaching our ambitious goals in digitalization, process improvement, and the adoption of new technologies.

How Hafslund Kraft conducts procurement

We typically conduct procurement through competitive bidding by inviting selected suppliers to submit offers. Suppliers are chosen for our competitions based on market knowledge and strategic considerations.

Hafslund Kraft requires all suppliers to be registered in the qualification system Achilles Utilities Northern & Central Europe (UNCE) with membership at a minimum Silver level.

How to qualify in UNCE

To qualify in UNCE, suppliers must:

• Register information about their business
• Provide documentation
• Consent to audits

The information and documentation should demonstrate that the supplier complies with Hafslund's ethical guidelines and supplier requirements.

Contract terms

We generally use standard contracts such as NS contracts, KOLEMO, and SSA for our procurements. Where such standard contracts are not applicable, Hafslund's own standard terms for the purchase of goods and services typically apply.
